Job Description
Local Aerospace manufacture hiring for experienced Welder.
Job Purpose:
Set up and operate welding equipment to TIG, MIG, and Spot weld various parts and or assemblies as required to meet the specifications as stated on the documentation.
Job Duties:
-- Fully responsible for producing quality product in a timely and efficient manner with no technical supervision.
-- Set-up and process parts in accordance with set-up sheets, blue-prints and customer specifications utilizing the appropriate tools and procedures
-- Ability to set-up processes and jobs for welding, benching and grinding in accordance with set-up sheets, blue-prints and customer specifications and instruct lower-skilled B level workers.
-- Fully responsible for checking product per the sampling plan requirements.
Qualifications:
-- High School diploma or GED
-- 3+ years of experience
-- Ability to read and understand blue prints
-- Certifications: AWS-D17.1, AWS-D9.1, AWS-D17.2
-- Ability to read, write, and understand the English language
-- Knowledge of ISO 9000/AS 9100 preferred -- Forklift certification is a plus
