Job Description
Largo based manufacturing company in need of a talented Stainless Steel Polisher to join their team.
Monday thru Friday 1st Shift
CLIMATE CONTROLLED FACILITY
Responsibilities:
--Grind off welds, polishing using different finishing wheels. Smooth welds tool 60, 120 and 180 grits.
--Grind, sand, clean, or polish objects or parts to correct defects or to prepare surfaces for further finishing, using hand tools and power tools. ---Verify quality of finished workpieces by inspecting them, comparing them to templates, measuring their dimensions, or testing them in working machinery.
--Trim, scrape, or deburr objects or parts, using chisels, scrapers, and other hand tools and equipment.
--Remove completed workpieces from equipment or work tables, using hand tools, and place workpieces in containers.
Requirements:
--3 to 5 years experience using power-tools like grinders, air-tools and abrasives.
--The position involves constant visual effort and concentration.
--The work requires standing and bending, and repetitive motions. It requires the ability to work and concentrate under conditions of loud noise and distractions.
--Lifting of heavy pieces may be required, as well as the ability to grip and use hand tools.
--Must have strong attention to detail and relentless toward safety.
Must be able to stand or sit for long periods of time, bend, stoop, twist, kneel, reach overhead and lift to 50 pounds.
Must be able to read, write and speak English, to include written and verbal instructions.
