Local, well established manufacturing company in need of an entry level Machine Operator. WILL TRAIN!
Monday thru Friday 7am to 3pm
$16.00 to $17.00 to start, depending on experience.
What You Will Be Doing
Operating an automatic spring coilers to manufacture custom springs, which conform to blueprints and customer specifications.
If you have experience with a CNC Machine, Drill Press or Lathe, these are transferable skills!
Must be able to read blueprints, sketches of springs to determine the set up needed to be done, dimensional specifications, operating requirements and job order for product specifications.
Must be able to performs set up on spring coilers.
Must be able to observes machine operation and measures springs for conformance to specifications, using micrometers or gauges and performs in-process inspections to assure proper conformance of springs.
May adjust machinery as needed to assure that spring meets specifications.
May sharpen cutoff tool and remove coiling marks from coiling point and pitch tool, using bench grinder.
Responsible for meeting the specifications on the traveler process sheet.
