SENIOR PLASTIC INJECTION MOLD MAKER
Job Description:
Company in Clearwater area is hiring a senior plastic injection mold maker with a minimum of 10 years-experience and strong leadership skills. The senior plastic injection mold maker builds, assembles, and trouble-shoots Class A or 101 plastic injection mold(s) for production and prototype applications.
Duties and Responsibilities:
As a Senior Plastic Injection Mold Maker you will be responsible for working within the framework of a team and performing the following activities:
Qualifications/Skills:
Education: Preferred: Certificate form any technical/trade school or college
Technical: Required: 10+ years mold-making experience
Required: Have familiarity with a variety of hot runners
(valve, horizontal, angled, multi-tip, direct hot-tip, etc.)
Personal Skills: Clear and effective communicator
Must possess leadership qualities
Reliable and dependable
Self-motivated with a passion for learning and constant growth (professional/personal)

- Interface with Engineering, programming, quality control inspection, co-workers and upper management in order to maintain open communication.
- Manage all aspects of job(s) including design review, planning, fitting, inspection and final assembly.
- Work independently AND as part of a group, as needed.
- Must be able to multi-task.
- Give a presentation/evaluation to customers during sampling and/or troubleshooting phase.
- Problem-solve with solid methodology for analyzing problems.
- Meet schedules and maintain quality standards.
