Job Description
As the company repair technician you will evaluates and inspects instruments at various stages and compiles and evaluates statistical data to determine and maintain quality and reliability of products. Perform repairs of mechanical and electrical assemblies and subassemblies through removals, repair or replacement of defective parts and/or fabrication of replacement parts, and installations in accordance with blueprints, component maintenance manuals, vendor documents, verbal instructions, engineering dispositions, On The Job Training (OJT), and other authorized maintenance data. All activities to be in accordance with Repair Station requirements ensuring all parts and assemblies meet conformance.
Skill Set Required:
--Use of basic hand tools and measuring devices (calipers, etc.)
--Basic understanding of blueprint and process sheet interpretation
--Basic computer skills
--Basic math skills (i.e., may have to do conversions to decimals)
--Basic verbal and written communication skills
Physical Requirements:
--Restrictions limited only by individual’s inability to perform essential job duties and where an unsafe condition would result for the individual or surrounding employees.
--Required lifting weight: 35 lbs. Lifting Frequency: Daily
--Sitting, standing, reaching, bending, and moving for extended periods of time.
--Ability to work in a Manufacturing environment.
