Job Description
Well established manufacturing company in Largo Florida is in need of a Manufacturing Assistant (Lead) in Warehouse/Production.
Monday to Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm
$16.00 to $18.00 depending on experience
Candidate's duties will including blending, filling, and shipping specialty chemicals. Special projects relating to these functions may be assigned as needed.
Warehouse
--Pick small package and LTL orders.
--Prepare products to ship by packing boxes, stacking product and wrapping pallets.
--Process inbound and outbound shipment paperwork
--Load and unload trucks as needed.
Production
--Assist in the company's chemical manufacturing and production process on a variety of different stations as needed.
- Label bottles and print boxes depending on product needs.
- Fill, cap, and heat seal a variety of bottles, jars & buckets.
- Package finished goods into bags and boxes.
--Conduct weekly cycle counts and inventories.
--Blend liquid and powder mixtures to various specifications
--Manage work orders and operate equipment per scheduled needs.
--Ensure adherence to safety policies and procedures.
--Ensure quality control standards are met for material and packaging.
Skills and Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- High School Diploma Required
- Minimum 2 years experience in related field
- Forklift and Pallet Jack experience preferred.
Must be able to stand or sit for long periods of time, bend, stoop, twist, reach overhead, kneel, squat and lift up to 50 pounds. Must be able to read, write and speak English, to include written and verbal instructions.
