Tampa manufacturing company is seeking a dynamic individual for their Customer Care and Data Entry / Technical Sales Support role.
Looking for a sharp, adept individual with abilities to solve technical issues, and skilled in assisting customers with technical quoting.

Monday thru Friday  8am to 5pm
$17.00 to $18.50 per hour depending on experience

Job Purpose:
Provide efficient and effective technical customer support while serving as a bridge between customer satisfaction and company objectives. Responsibilities encompass basic level 1 technical assistance, data entry, order processing, quote generation for all the company’s product lines, customer engagement, and conducting satisfaction surveys. This role will be working with inbound customer calls and at times make outbound calls for customer satisfaction checks.
Essential Functions:
  • Order Entry for all product lines.
  • Provide basic level 1 technical assistance to customers.
  • Must Learn Basics of our products in first 6 months.
  • Perform computer-based tasks while effectively communicating with customers and collaborating within the team.
  • Engage with customers to ensure satisfaction and address their inquiries.
  • Conduct phone calls to verify customer information and gather feedback.
  • Follow up on Quotes sent to customers.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for existing and potential encoder customers, including end-users, direct OEMs, and distributors.
  • Facilitate communication between sales, production, and accounting for encoder orders and related issues, to keep orders moving.
  • Monitor and accurately enter incoming orders from various sources (telephone, fax, e-mail, website shopping carts, and customer portals).
  • Verify order accuracy and issue order acknowledgments.
  • Process return authorizations.
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries.
  • Resolve customer order discrepancies or complaints by collaborating with sales, production, and engineering teams.
  • Address accounts receivables invoicing concerns.
  • Ensure comprehensive and precise processing, shipment, and invoicing of customer orders.
  • Document processes and procedures to enhance organizational knowledge and operational efficiency.
  • Assist the Sales Team with Encoder Sales, Elevator Sales and Industrial Sales, including order verification, shipment scheduling, resolution of payment and tax issues, and order confirmation.
  • Prepare quotes for potential new customers, categorizing them as end-users, direct OEMs, or distributors, and providing estimated lead times and quantity discounts.
Secondary Functions:
  • Some Administrative tasks
  • Responding to Visitors coming to front door (infrequent)
  • Conduct customer outreach, calling customers to perform verbal wellness checks and update sales teams on any issues.
  • Maintain communication records and update customer information in HubSpot CRM, ACCESS and other customer management systems.
  • Attend Weekly Training Class and complete online training to help improve customer service skills, VIA Sandler Training Online
