Job Description

The Channel Development Manager will be responsible for developing and executing programs in support of the company’s revenue goals. This position will drive success through nurturing strong partner relationships, developing sales enablement tools, crafting partner communications, providing channel marketing support, and coordinating customer events. Additional responsibilities include designing & implementing promotions and contributing to the partner social media strategy. This position is integral to driving growth and success through our global channel partner network.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Build and maintain strong relationships with channel partners: Foster open communication, identify and address partner needs and provide ongoing support.
2. Craft and deliver effective channel partner communications: Utilize various channels to regularly inform and engage partners on technical updates, product launches, and marketing initiatives.
3. Manage trade shows and customer events: Works with Sr Marcomm Specialist to develop compelling themes, ensure seamless execution, and measure the success of each event.
4. Design and implement channel promotions: Create compelling “win-win” campaigns (eg. Distributor and end-customer) to drive incremental sales through channel partners.
5. Handle international documentation requests: Process partner inquiries and requests for authorized distributor, sole source letters, etc.
6. Provide sales and marketing resources: Equip channel partners with the necessary tools and materials, such as product brochures, training manuals, and promotional assets, to effectively sell the company's products or services. Maintain and update the digital asset management system
7. Monitor and analyze channel performance: Track key metrics like order volume and quotation/opportunity pipeline to assess effectiveness of the channel program and identify areas for improvement.
8. Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders: Collaborate effectively with
sales, marketing, customer support, and other departments to ensure alignment and support for the channel program.
9. Contribute to partner social media strategy: Provide guidance and support to partners to effectively leverage social media channels.

Preferred Qualifications
? 3-5 years of experience in channel sales or development: A solid understanding of the channel sales model and experience working with partners is crucial.
? Experience with channel marketing and communications: Knowledge of creating targeted campaigns and utilizing various channels including LinkedIn is a plus.
? Proven track record of building and maintaining strong sales channel and other business relationships: The ability to foster trust and open communication with a diverse group of partners is essential.
? Excellent communication skills (written and verbal): Crafting presentations, reports, and communicating with partners regularly.
? Project management skills: Managing events, programs, and partner requests, requiring strong organization and execution abilities.
? Analytical skills: Experience with data analysis to track performance metrics and identify areas for improvement in the channel program.
? Ability to work independently and as part of a team: Collaborate with various internal departments and manage partners simultaneously.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in channel marketing, business development or a similar role Proven track record of success in building and managing partnerships
