St. Petersburg based manufacturing company in need of a CNC Associate to join their team. Candidates must know how to interpret blueprints and be able to use inspection tools such as micrometer and caliper.
Salary: $15 - $18 hour depending on experience
8:00 AM – 4:30 PM // 4:15 PM - 12:45 AM
As a CNC Associate, your primary responsibility will be to perform finishing tasks on various types of metal products. You will utilize hand tools and power equipment to grind, glass bead, brush finish, and polish  components. This role requires a keen eye for detail, technical expertise, and strict adherence to safety protocols.Â
Responsibilities
--Minimum education required: High school diploma
--Ability to interpret blueprints and drawings
--Understand shop floor math
--Ability to use inspection tools such as micrometer and caliper
Must be able to stand for up to eight hours per day, bend, stoop, use hands and lift up to 35 pounds unassisted. Must have 20/40 vision (with or without corrective lenses and be able to distinguish colors.

Responsibilities
- Perform finishing operations, including grinding, glass beading, brush finishing, and polishing, on metal products.
- Ensure that the final products meet the required specifications and quality standards.
- Follow all OSHA safety rules and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Interpret and read technical drawings and blueprints to understand finishing requirements.
- Utilize precision measurement tools such as calipers and micrometers to verify the accuracy of finished products.
- Collaborate effectively within a team environment to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Â Prior experience in metal finishing is a plus, but we are willing to provide training to candidates who demonstrate a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn.
