Assembly Technician

Job Description
Local manufacturing company in need of an experience Great position for person with a mechanical special machine building background. Assembly work will range from mechanical bench top to large mechanical equipment builds. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling various components to create finished products. This role requires attention to detail and a strong understanding of electrical assembly processes.
Monday thru Friday 6:00am to 2:30pm
$17.00 to $21.00 per hour depending on experience.

DUTIES
- Assemble components, sub-assemblies, and mechanical equipment applications accurately according to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments such as calipers to perform assembly tasks
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical assembly issues.
REQUIREMENTS
- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
-Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Attention to detail and ability to work with precision measuring tools.
- Good problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Must be able to stand or sit for long periods of time, bend, stoop, squat, kneel, reach over head and lift to 50 pounds. Must be able to read, write and speak ENGLISH.
