Job Description
The Assembler Quality Inspector will perform simple to complex assembly and inspections of mechanical parts, electronic assemblies, and instruments. Use a variety of precision measuring equipment, auto/semi-automatic equipment, and fixtures. Documents results and maintain current product configuration specifications. Work with production associates, supervisors, design engineers, manufacturing engineers and quality engineers in real-time communication of defects, containment and root cause and corrective actions to address failures identified.
Qualifications:
--High school diploma or equivalent education, training, and/or related work experience.? 0-2 years of work experience in a manufacturing environment
--Must be able to work with ITAR products and related data without restriction. Skill Set Required:
--Use of basic hand tools and measuring devices (calipers, etc.)
--Basic understanding of blueprint and process sheet interpretation
--Basic computer skills
--Basic math skills (i.e., may have to do conversions to decimals)
--Basic verbal and written communication skills
--Regular attendance and punctuality is required
