**Machine Shop Associate**

Job Description
Monday thru Friday 7:30am to 4:00pm
$13.50 to $15.00
Job Purpose: Carry out production, inspection, packaging, and machine operation duties. Set up machinery and ensure all materials are readily available. Effectively monitor production equipment. To mechanically assemble, gluing operation and melting of product. To assist the CNC operation when needed.
Essential Functions:
- Strong attention to detail
- Willingness to learn new skills
- Mechanically inclined and good with their hands
- Prior machine operating experience preferred
- General understanding of safety guidelines in a manufacturing environment
- Able to read a tape measure and do basic addition and subtraction
- Ability to drive a forklift a plus
Requirements:
- Reliable transportation
- Strong attention to detail
- Willingness to learn new skills
- Mechanically inclined and good with their hands
- Prior machine operating experience preferred
- General understanding of safety guidelines in a manufacturing environment
- Able to read a tape measure and do basic addition and subtraction
- Ability to drive a forklift a plus Ability to frequently stand, kneel, squat, push, pull, bend, climb with little to no sitting for an 8-hour shift
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently
Experience:
- Previous manufacturing, warehouse, and/or industrial experience a plus
- Knowledge of general tool use necessary
