Job Description


Tampa distribution center seeking entry-level warehouse associates with a great attitude, who are dedicated, and want to learn and advance within the company. 

$15.00 to $16.50 depending on experience

Responsibilities:

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for receipt, organization and shipment of our products in a timely and efficient manner. The Warehouse Associate will also review incoming/outgoing products for damage and ensure that inventory levels are accurate.
  • Ensures all merchandise is properly counted and tagged according to established company standards
  • Performs cycle counts and verifies counts against stock status
  • Checks stock status daily for expired items and prepares daily cut sheet
  • Reports any discrepancies to the lead warehouse associate
  • Assists with the receiving process when needed
  • Assists management with completing and maintaining reports
  • Returns any damaged products.
  • Stock items in their respective inventory locations
  • Records all received items in the computer system.
  • Picks, sorts and places materials and items according to organizational standards
  • Packs items in a methodical way
  • Ensures the work environment is clean, tidy and safe

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Minimum of 2 years supply chain and distribution experience directly involved in distribution and receiving operations support
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • 1-2 years of data entry experience, required
  • Previous experience with a scanner, preferred
  • Knowledge of inventory control practices, Microsoft operating system, Word, Excel, and NetSuite preferred
  • Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization
  • Strong problem solving skills

Must be able to read, write and speak ENGLISH, to include written and verbal instruction.

Must be able to stand or sit for long periods of time, bend, stoop, reach overhead, twist, kneel, squat and lift to 50 pounds.
