Job Description
Tampa based manufacturing company in need of an entry level Warehouse Associate to join their team.
16 - $18 an hour
Monday to Friday (overtime available)
Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Associate to join our team. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for various duties including shipping and receiving, order picking, inventory control, and general warehouse maintenance. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and opportunities for growth.
Duties:
-Load and Unload truck with Forklifts, willingness to get dirty
-Work M-F 8am-5pm (opportunities for overtime), occasional Saturdays.
-Willing to learn new skills that involve running, and cutting metal wire rope onto wooden reels via machine operation.
- Perform shipping and receiving tasks, including loading and unloading trucks
- Operate a crane to move heavy materials as needed
- Be a team player with a good attitude
- Fabricate and build products according to specifications
- Use order pickers to retrieve items from warehouse shelves
- Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and stock checks
- Assist with general warehouse maintenance, such as organizing shelves and cleaning work areas
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment preferred
-Machine Operation (will train qualified candidates)
- Mechanical knowledge and ability to operate warehouse equipment safely
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physically demanding tasks
- Proficiency in inventory control systems and basic computer skills
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
