IT Help Desk Technician Skills Required:
-- Help Desk experience in an IT environment AND/OR Level ONE or TWO experience.
-- Experience with Microsoft Centric a PLUS (training available)
-- Ability to analyze a network environment and offer solutions
-- Experience with remote support and monitoring
-- Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair potential problems
-- Knowledge of and experience in management of server security to prevent firewall intrusions and attacks
-- Skills in data back-ups
-- Perform application of OS and panel upgrades
-- Time management and the ability to move from trouble ticket to trouble ticket effectively, to include compete notes and other documentation as needed.
-- Ability to work independently or with a group
-- Certification in or studying for MCSE, CCNA, CCNP, MSDDA certifications a PLUS.
-- Strong desire to continually learn and grow in the IT industry.
