Job Description
Local Tampa manufacturing company in need of talented Powder Coaters to join their team.
Position Objective:
To accurately prep and paint (powder coating) steel furniture frames and parts in spray booth.*
Position Functions:
- Responsible for complete paint coverage of all materials entering the spray booth.
- Must be able to make paint color changes in a timely manner.
- Assist line loaders on conveyor system as directed.
- Report obvious defects in raw materials to supervisor before part passes to next stage.
- Ability to communicate inventory levels for paint and supplies to supervisor.
Qualifications:
- 2 years of powder coating experience with spray gun BY HAND, not in production setting, required.
- Basic Communication and math skills necessary.
- High level of attention to detail required.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
